Welcome Dr. Paola V. Clark

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Paola V. Clark to the Alcuin family as our new Head of School. Throughout her 23-year journey in international education, Dr. Clark has nurtured learning communities that embrace both Montessori and International Baccalaureate principles. She is dedicated to creating vibrant spaces where innovation and diversity flourish, leading initiatives that bring transformative educational experiences to life while strengthening the bonds of community. A passionate educator who speaks three languages, she believes in the power of combining thoughtful analysis with heartfelt attention to each student's individual growth. Her commitment to fostering both academic excellence and personal development perfectly captures the spirit of Alcuin's mission: preparing confident, creative, and compassionate global citizens.

Timeline and Process

1) Community Engagement and Needs Assessment

Engage with Alcuin’s community to understand the unique needs and culture, guiding the search criteria.
2) Position Description Development

Development of a detailed position description that encapsulates the school's history, mission, current needs, and the qualities desired in the next head of school.
3) Candidate Review and Interviews

Screening and preliminary interviews to shortlist potential candidates.
4) Finalist Selection and School Visits

Finalists visit Alcuin School for in-depth interviews and engagement with the school community.
5) Selection and Approval

The Search Committee makes a final recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
6) Official Announcement
