Your gifts in support of scholarships directly benefit the whole Alcuin community. By supporting students in need of financial aid to attend Alcuin School, you are contributing to Alcuin's rich and diverse environment where all students can thrive.

Approximately 24% of Alcuin families receive some level of financial aid, which accounts for 14% of the school’s Operating Budget each year. Not only do your gifts allow amazing young people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend Alcuin to benefit from the Alcuin experience, your gift also allows Alcuin to use the funds that would have come from the Operating Budget to support other programming for our students.

Alcuin has several scholarship funds, one of which, the Alex Podeszwa Legacy Fund, was established by Alex’s parents in October 2014 in memory of an inspiring young man who was the embodiment of Alcuin's Mission – and who personified the motto “innovative thinkers and passionate learners” in being the person that we strive for each of our students to become.

Our inaugural Scholarship Celebration event was held the following October to honor Alex and raise awareness about the need for scholarships. We want to offer you the opportunity to contribute to Alex's vision of Alcuin by donating to one of our scholarship funds or sponsoring our next Scholarship Celebration event.

Together, we can be successful in raising critical scholarship funding. Thank you for celebrating Alex and his dreams with us!
