Powerful Speaker Addresses Upper School

On Sept. 6, former diplomat and Afghan native Farima Nawabi spoke by videoconference to students of Alcuin's Upper School and Junior World Affairs Council (JWAC).

Since the resurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Nawabi has been unable to return home and currently advocates for the rights of Afghan women while living in Sweden.
