Ilana Lemke
Lemke visits her family in Vermont each summer and enjoys spending time hiking in the Green Mountains.
Ilana Lemke is the Elementary Music teacher at Alcuin School. She hails from Burlington, Vermont, attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA where she earned her Bachelor of Music degree and moved south to earn a Master of Music degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
Lemke visits her family in Vermont each summer and enjoys spending time hiking in the Green Mountains and sailing with childhood friends on Lake Champlain. If she could take a field trip with her students anywhere in the world it would be to Austria to sing “The hills are alive with the Sound of Music” and see the birthplace of her favorite composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
