Simon enjoys traveling, singing, and participating in Zumba classes and local Zumba-thons.
Christopher Simon, known as Mr. C.J., began teaching at Alcuin school in 2008. Before establishing his position as an Upper Elementary teacher at Alcuin, he graduated with a B.A. in Educational Studies at Emory University and later earned another B.A. in Sociology at Georgia State University.
Soon after, Simon participated in the first AMI Elementary training in Texas which began at Alcuin School from 2004 to 2006 while teaching both Lower and Upper elementary during his six years in Atlanta, Georgia.
An alum of the Montessori Institute of North Texas, he felt honored to serve on the organization’s board of directors for three years. Simon considers himself a “foodie” and enjoys dining around town with friends. During his spare time, he enjoys traveling, singing, and participating in Zumba classes and local Zumba-thons.
